Kelly's Story about the Carnival Horse:

The tasteful Carnival horse was left in a Ballard FREE bin by friends of mine that were moving, & have a 'bad art' collection (no, none of mine). Since my yard is filled with large, plastic, pseudo-carnival horses, I thought he needed rescuing.

But he's been in a closet for months, and needs to be out prancing on some black velvet walls in those glorious sequins.

I traded for the cake trophy to give to a friend who's a cake baker. She/they commissioned trompe L'oeil 7' pantry doors from me, the illusion of all the food on the shelves is stuff that really does fill the pantry behind, including all her cake-making supplies. I had a blast painting them, fave is the chipmunk looking down next to the Jif.
