Fear and Loathing of Penguins

Eric's Story that Came With Fear and Loathing of Penguins:

Christmas '05, first one with new and quirky girlfriend.  Among her quirks, a strangely irrational fear and loathing of penguins.  As a way to simultaneously make fun of that and her tendency to run from anything mainstream, I bought her this horribly soccer mommish statue at a Hallmark store.  She doesn't like having it visibly on display in our apartment.  I occasionally bust it out, put it somewhere relatively subtle and wait to see how long it takes her to notice. 

I asked her if it was okay for me to put this up on bARTersauce and she exclaimed, "Get that fucking thing out of here!"
